IT Policies

Several policies and guidelines apply to Iowa State University faculty, staff, and students related to the proper and appropriate uses of campus information technology resources and networks. These policies deal with both legal and ethical requirements connected to the access and use of campus IT networks.

Specifically, the University prohibits unlawful peer-to-peer filesharing and other forms of copyright infringement. Violations of these policies can result in enforcement by both the University and agencies external to the University.
